URGENT MEDICAL CARE NEEDS

One of our MANY functions is rescuing animals with Urgent Medical Care Needs.

These animals would not survive if it had not been for Halteman's Haven coming to the rescue by getting them fully vetted, full medical attention and FULL LOVE!

We will update information on these babies as they become available AND when they are ready for their new FURREVER HOMES!

WE HAVE RESCUED 22 KITTENS IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS!   ALL ARE READY FOR THEIR FURREVER HOMES!  PLEASE CONTACT US TO ADOPT A KITTY!

We are in need of donations for each animal.

We have several URGENT ANIMALS in need of continued medical care for the next few months!

Halteman's Haven is a licensed non-profit (501c3) animal rescue organization since 2005.
While MOGUL was being beaten by a baseball bat and his tail being stabbed by two teenage boys in Carrollton, Animal Control was called. When they got there, the two boys ran away. Animal Control had a hard decision to make, Do we chase the boys or help the cat? They chose to help Mogul. We couldn't agree more. Mogul had scurried under a fence where he let Animal Control pick him up. He is now with us at Halteman's Haven. He is FIV and Leukemia positive. We are hoping that once he heals, we can find a loving home for him.            Mogul also has his own Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/MogulTheBeautifulAbusedCat
HARRY was bitten approx 6 months ago.  We were contacted as the owner has spent nearly $1000 on this baby to no avail.  He is not getting better.   First thing we did was a combo test.  He tested positive for FIV which is the reason he is not healing.  We will be giving him laser treatments to stabilize and cure him.    The previous owner is now fostering him.   The treatments will run approx $100/ea, two times a week until the wound heals.
PHOENIX was discovered with what looks to be bite wounds.  He was taken to Dr. Burt where he is being treated with antibiotics and Prednisone.   We are positive that he will heal and we will be able to place him in a furever home.
Please help us care for our Rescues.
Your donations go towards their veterinary visits, medicine, medical supplies, food, blankets and more.   Thank you!
